Reflections on History

The Potomac Community Foundation was on hand Aug. 14 when two iconic Montgomery County publishing families came together to discuss how to preserve the region’s history.

Left to right: Lynn and Mark Kapiloff, Matt Logan, and Knight Kiplinger were on hand to reflect on a recent article written by Kiplinger, the modern scion of the iconic Kiplinger publishing empire. He began his journalism career at the Montgomery County Sentinel, which was purchased by brothers Bernard and Leonard Kapiloff in 1962. The publication is still available on-line, with a link to Kiplinger’s article here:

Logan’s organization, Montgomery History, hopes to announce a new project involving the families in the coming months.
